Historical Society’s Museum/Tourist Center
The Ash Fork Historical Society was founded in 1997 with the mission to gather and preserve information and its’ natural resources on the history of Ash Fork; help preserve old buildings; serve as a resource center for historical studies; and work hand in hand with the transportation museum.The volunteer staff is ready to guide you to the surrounding area’s points of interest
Points of Interest
Don’t miss Settler’s Cemetery or the Cathedral Caves which are approximately 10 miles (16 km) west of town off Arizona Road, the remnants of Beale Road (the first federally funded highway) just 15 miles (24 km) to the north of Ash Fork, the steel and stone dams, petroglyphs, and the China Tunnel. Be sure to check out the DeSoto's Salon (formerly a Texaco Station) for a great photo op.
