During the pandemic, there was a 60 Minutes episode that highlighted a new technology which allowed you to have a conversation with someone using AI technology. The Association had the idea to apply this technology to Angel Delgadillo so visitors could speak with Angel 7 days a week and ask him all about his life and the rebirth of Route 66.
A crew visited Seligman for 3 days, filming Angel in a bubble of cameras for 8 hours a day, recording him answering hundreds of questions visitors may be interested in asking. Now, guests at the Kingman Visitor Center can explore this new experience on the second floor near the entrance to the Route 66 Museum. They can ask him to play his saxophone, listen to his proudest moment in life, and understand why starting the rebirth of Historic Route 66 was so important.
The StoryFile, which consists of an iPad and TV, is surrounded by exhibit walls detailing Angel's life. You can even leave a business card on the wall like in Angel's barber shop.
Open daily 9 am - 4 pm.
